Job Satisfaction and Its Relationship with Security Performance among Members of the Palestinian Security Forces in Qalqilya Governorate: A Case Study of Agencies Affiliated with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior

Abstract

This study aimed to examine job satisfaction and its relationship with security performance among members of the Palestinian security forces in Qalqilya Governorate, using a case study of the agencies affiliated with the Ministry of Interior: the police, preventive security, civil defense, and the Customs Police. A descriptive correlational approach was employed with a questionnaire of 20 items across two axes (job satisfaction and security performance efficiency), with a random sample of 239 participants. The study found that the mean scores for the impact of job satisfaction on enhancing security performance efficiency were high, and revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between the level of job satisfaction and security performance.
