Peer Review Process

UJGHRSH follows a Double-Blind Peer Review system in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. Manuscripts first undergo an initial assessment by the Editorial Office and the Editor-in-Chief; those that pass are assigned to at least two independent reviewers. Following review, the Editor-in-Chief reaches one of the following decisions: accept without revisions, accept with minor revisions, request major revisions, or reject. Typical timelines are: initial editorial screening 1-2 weeks; peer review 3-6 weeks; final editorial decision 1-2 weeks after reviewer reports are received (actual timelines may vary).

Editorial Policies

Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board without influence from the publisher, sponsors, institutions, funding agencies, advertisers, or any external parties, and are based solely on academic merit, originality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's aims and scope, and compliance with ethical standards. The journal maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and all forms of academic misconduct, and all manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism-detection software prior to peer review. Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest. Where necessary, the journal may publish a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction, which remains permanently linked to the original article.

Open Access Policy

UJGHRSH provides immediate and unrestricted open access to all published articles, freely available online without subscription fees or access restrictions. Readers may read, download, print, and share published articles for educational and research purposes, and cite and reference published content without restriction.
