The Role of Using Artificial Intelligence Applications in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Abstract

This paper aimed to identify the role of using artificial intelligence applications in achieving sustainable development goals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The descriptive analytical approach was used, where the researchers designed a questionnaire consisting of (39) items, its validity and reliability were confirmed. The study sample consisted of (150) Faculty member at the University of Ha'il. After analyzing the data using means, standard deviations, and a t-test, the results showed that there is a role for using artificial intelligence applications in achieving sustainable development goals in their various economic, social, and environmental fields in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In light of these results, a set of recommendations were developed, the most prominent of which is the need to benefit from artificial intelligence applications in serving society, enhancing the requirements of sustainable development in all fields, especially services, industrial, and preserving the natural sources of wealth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
