Aims

The Universal Journal of Future Intelligence: Innovations and Artificial Intelligence (UJFIIAI) is an international peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing knowledge, innovation, and responsible applications of artificial intelligence and emerging intelligent technologies.

The journal aims to:

  • Foster dialogue among researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and technology innovators worldwide.
  • Publish high-quality original research in artificial intelligence and future-oriented technologies.
  • Promote scientific innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Scope

The journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, theoretical studies, technical reports, case studies, and interdisciplinary contributions in, but not limited to: artificial intelligence (AGI, explainable AI, responsible and ethical AI, human-centered AI, intelligent decision support); machine learning and deep learning (algorithms, deep learning models, reinforcement learning, transfer learning, federated learning, neural networks, predictive analytics); data science and big data analytics; natural language processing (large language models, text mining, sentiment analysis, conversational AI, machine translation); computer vision and intelligent perception; robotics and autonomous systems (intelligent robotics, autonomous vehicles, human-robot interaction, smart manufacturing); intelligent computing and emerging technologies (edge and cloud computing, IoT, digital twins, quantum computing applications, smart cities); cybersecurity and intelligent security systems; digital transformation and innovation; AI in society, education, and industry (healthcare, finance, public services, sustainable AI); and future intelligence systems (hybrid human-AI systems, collective intelligence, cognitive computing).

The journal serves researchers and academics, artificial intelligence scientists, data scientists and analysts, computer engineers and software developers, technology innovators and entrepreneurs, industry professionals, policymakers and technology regulators, and graduate and postgraduate students.

Peer Review Process

UJFIIAI follows a Double-Blind Peer Review process, whereby the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. Manuscripts first undergo an initial assessment by the Editorial Office and the Editor-in-Chief; those that pass are assigned to at least two independent reviewers. For studies involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or intelligent systems, reviewers may additionally evaluate transparency of algorithms and methodologies, adequacy of datasets, reproducibility of results, and ethical implications including bias, fairness, accountability, and explainability. Following review, the Editor-in-Chief reaches one of the following decisions: accept without revisions, accept with minor revisions, request major revisions, or reject.

Editorial Policies

Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board without influence from the publisher, sponsors, funding organizations, institutions, advertisers, or external parties, and are based exclusively on scientific merit, originality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's scope, and ethical compliance. The journal supports the development and dissemination of responsible, ethical, and human-centered artificial intelligence, and encourages authors to consider transparency, explainability, fairness, accountability, privacy, and social impact where applicable. The journal maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and research misconduct, and all manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism-detection and integrity-assessment tools prior to peer review.

Open Access Policy

UJFIIAI provides immediate and unrestricted open access to all published content, freely available online upon publication without subscription fees or access barriers. Readers may read, download, print, and share published content for educational and research purposes, and cite and reference articles without restriction.

Copyright Notice

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. By publishing in UJFIIAI, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the article in electronic and print formats, to archive and preserve the published work, and to include it in academic databases, repositories, and indexing services. Authors retain the right to reuse their work in books, dissertations, theses, and teaching materials, to deposit the published article in institutional or subject repositories, and to share the published version on personal, institutional, and professional websites, provided appropriate acknowledgment of the original publication in UJFIIAI is given.

Publication Ethics

The journal recognizes the growing use of Artificial Intelligence tools in research and scholarly communication. Authors must disclose any use of AI technologies for text generation, language editing, data analysis, software development, or image/visualization creation; AI systems cannot be listed as authors, and human authors remain fully responsible for all submitted content. The journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, and undisclosed AI-generated content.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

UJFIIAI currently operates under a No Article Processing Charges (No APC) policy: the journal does not charge authors any fees for manuscript submission, initial editorial assessment, peer review, editorial processing, publication of accepted articles, or online access to published content. Editorial decisions are made independently of any financial considerations.

Language of Publication

The journal accepts manuscripts in English and Arabic. All submissions are subject to peer review and editorial evaluation.
